I sit here under the warmth of my studio lights and in the company of a few Netflix shows, while I paint. My mind goes into the memories of snowy, misty mountain forests while snowboarding. It seems like a different lifetime altogether, a few decades in the past. I revel in gratitude that the mind and the memories are kept and can be accessed just as quickly as the fleeting moments have passed.
